Well, it wasn’t quite the Party In the Park, but Party Near the Park still had its fair share of stars and prima donnas.
The charity event was organised to raise money for the Unicorn children’s theatre in London. As well as the good work done for charity, the event also provided the opportunity for all those in the property industry to showcase their musical talents. And the real estate lawyers were not shy in coming forward, bagging the prime positions of opening act and the grand finale.
To kick off the show was a white-flared team from Ashurst Morris Crisp singing Michael Jackson’s Blame It On The Boogie.
But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly Canary Wharf’s general counsel Michael Ashley-Brown, looking even more stunning than usual in glamorous drag, singing Stand By Your Man.
Good to see he’s got an alternative career to fall back on if things don’t work out after the potential public-to-private.
