The Hungarian arm of McKenna & Co, McKenna Ormai, has appointed a telecommunications specialist as its senior Hungarian lawyer.
Dr Marianna Csabai joined the firm as a partner on 1 January. She left her previous Hungarian firm, Simon Buros & Partners, last year to develop her own telecommunications practice.
Csabai, who is a qualified Doctor of Law in Hungary and a member of the Bar, said she joined McKennas to benefit from the support a large law firm could give to her practice.
She has over 10 years experience of corporate and commercial law and advises on intellectual property.
Stephen Forster, head of the McKennas office, said: “Marianna's expertise will reinforce us in a number of areas, particularly in the fields of corporate, commercial and utilities work.”
