Regional firm Cripps Harries Hall has poached a new head for its leading family law department.
Michael Rowlands has moved to Cripps from fellow Kent-based firm Argles & Court. He will be charged with developing the practice, which is already regarded as one of the leaders in the South East.
“There is a huge difference between these two firms in terms of size, and Cripps will have the ability to supply me with far better work,” he says.
“Part of the reason I have been brought in is to expand the department.
“There is a feeling that we are not on the map as much as we should be.”
Rowlands was originally a solicitor in the matrimonial department at Cripps before he moved to Argles & Court 10 years ago.
“I am delighted that Michael has rejoined us,” says head of private client litigation Russell Simpson. “He has the expertise to provide our clients with the highest standards of advice and service.”
