Employment law alliance ius laboris has expanded into Finland with the addition of Finnish firm Roschier Holmberg, taking the total number of firms in the alliance to 20.
Managing director of the alliance Jean-Francois Gerard cited the move as an important step into the Nordic region. “The Nordic market is seen more and more as a single entity by employers and it is essential to build a strong presence in those markets,” he commented.
Roschier has five offices in Finland and the employment team is made up of two partners and 10 associates.
“The fact that the focus of ius laboris is purely on labour law was very appealing to us,” said Eva Nordman, head of Roschier’s labour law practice. “Being a member… gives us access to an international network of labour law experts, and thereby helps us to help our clients.”
