What was your first ever job?
A Saturday job in a bakery.
What was your worst experience as a trainee?
Having to drive a client on trial for GBH to court.

Wherever the trainees are.
What time do you usually leave the office?
What do you do at weekends?
Hiking is my other passion, so any opportunity to go to the mountains is great. Otherwise, relaxing with husband, family and friends.
What’s your favourite restaurant?
If you weren’t a lawyer what would you have been?
Doctor or mountaineer.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Bad, by Michael Jackson.
Who’s your hero and why?
I have five – my mum, dad, two sisters and brother, who all inspire me on a daily basis.
What’s the best thing about your job?
Winning my cases.
What’s the toughest thing about your job?
Losing my cases.
What’s your biggest work/career mistake and what did you learn from it?
As a newly qualified solicitor I was told to attend before a High Court judge knowing I didn’t have rights of audience – I now stand up for myself.

Andy Cave’s Thin White Line.
What’s your favourite children’s book?
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
What’s the most exciting deal/case you have worked on?
The one I’m working on now.
If you were stranded on a desert island what two luxury items would you take?
An unlimited supply of Earl Grey tea and long-life milk.
If a movie was being made about your life, which actor would play you and why?
Eek! I wouldn’t want a movie made about my life.

I used to participate in competitive kickboxing fights; I’ve played an extra in a movie; I have summitted Mount Kilimanjaro.
