When T-Mobile restructured its UK legal team last year, James Blendis became one of the youngest legal heads in the country.
Despite his relative youth, Blendis has proved himself an excellent people-manager during his two-year spell as deputy to former general counsel Julia Chain, who left the company in October.
In the wake of Chain’s departure, the group was split into legal and regulatory departments, with Blendis’s excellent service throughout his six years at the company being recognised with promotion to the top legal job.
All who have worked with Blendis comment on his sharp mind and excellent legal skills. He played a key role in rebranding the company from its previous One2One moniker and will play an equally important role as
T-Mobile adjusts to life without the experienced and respected Chain.
