TLA's client win is likely to make a considerable dent in Wragges' commercial contracts work for the company.
“This is very important for a new business and is a vindication of what we're trying to do – offering quality advice at a lower price,” said TLA co-founder Stephen Ollerenshaw.
A Wragges spokesperson said: “It won't mean any change to the work we do for Cap Gemini.”
While at Wragges, Oll-erenshaw became Cap Gem-ini's first secondee. Wragges had not done any prior work for the company, but Olleren-shaw helped develop the relationship, resulting in Cap Gemini becoming the firm's largest IT client.
Despite this blow, Wragges is unlikely to lose the client. The firm will still advise on some commercial contracts work and also advises the outsourcing specialists on some corporate and employment issues.
