Salans has strengthened its Paris tax team with the hire of six new lawyers as the firm’s French arm continues its hiring spree.

Salans has hired six associates to boost numbers in Paris to more than 150. The hires come from a variety of firms, including Allen & Overy and JeantetAssociés. Salans has been building up its French offering with a series of rapid lateral hires.

At the beginning of November the firm raided Taylor Wessing for a five-lawyer real estate team, which included partners François Verdot and Antonia Raccat, who will jointly manage the firm’s real estate practice in France with Henry Lazarski.

The firm also snapped up Rémi Barousse, who joined Salans as of counsel after 18 years as a magistrate.
