Joining the procession of relocating lawyers was in-house lawyer David Jackson, who moved to Shoosmiths‘ Birmingham office from global catering group Compass.
As first reported by The Lawyer (17 April), Jackson joined Shoosmiths as a partner as part of the firm’s push to expand its Midlands presence.
Also making a move was Hammonds’ former Birmingham corporate head David Hull, who has relocated to London.
The move, which will see Hull focus on his international practice, is understood to have been driven by a dwindling workload in the Midlands.
But the firm insists that the motivation behind the transfer is to allow Hull to concentrate on his international practice.
