Norton Rose partners have opted for SE1 development More London as their new home, and today [2 April] started exclusive negotiations on a deal.
The firm selected More London over its other two short-listed options: former Clifford Chance building 201 Bishopsgate and the Moorhouse scheme in EC2.
The building, which is a Foster and Partners design, will be 343,000 sq ft.
However the deal is still dependent on Norton Rose negotiating an exit strategy with its current landlord Heron International to get out of its lease.
Norton Rose will be situated between the new Ernst & Young headquarters and the Greater London Authority City Hall, both of which are also located in the 13-acre development, which overlooks Tower Bridge.
The firm hopes to move in 2007.
