Ashurst has poached Lovells ;projects ;and infrastructure partner Jason Radford for its own growing team.

Ashurst’s London energy, transport and infrastructure (ETI) team makes up more than 10 per cent of the firm’s turnover and numbers 15 partners in London and around 25 worldwide, having almost doubled in size in three years.

Ashurst ETI head Mark Elsey said: “We’ve been busy now for as long as we can remember and we plan to keep on growing across all our markets. But a lot of projects deals are long-term and we therefore need a good, robust team that can continue with the growth.”

Radford has trained at Lovells and has been a partner there since 2002, specialising in international project finance and M&A. He said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a team whose profile and work has improved rapidly over the last few years.”
