Laura Devine Solicitors, the firm launched last month by Eversheds‘ former head of immigration, has signed up BP and JCB as new clients. Laura Devine set up the firm, based in Old Jewry, with eight other lawyers from her joint venture with Eversheds. She has not worked with BP or JCB in the past. Stevens & Bolton fills construction top spots
South East firm Stevens & Bolton has appointed barrister Jeremy Woodward to jointly head its construction and engineering group with partner Michael Frisby. Woodward joins from international construction and engineering group Bilfinger Berger, where he was UK in-house counsel.
