The stormy nature of Clifford Chance‘s communications, media and telecoms team has passed into legal market mythology, with partners allegedly having stand-up rows at group meetings before slamming doors and flouncing out. (Sounds a bit like Tulkinghorn’s house.)
News now reaches these shores providing more evidence of the chronic lack of communication between the partners. Apparently, two ‘team members’ once decided it would be a good idea to pitch for the same piece of work for the same client. Without telling each other. An open door policy? Probably not.
