Chadbourne & Parke has boosted its Polish energy presence with the hire of a high-profile group from White & Case.
Partner Igor Muszyn’ski was White & Case’s energy head in Warsaw, advising Polish and foreign energy companies, local governments and customers of electrical energy and fuels with particular expertise in regulatory issues.
He will be joined at Chadbourne by a team of three associates.
The hires, first revealed on www.thelawyer.com (23 February), mark Chadbourne’s energy debut in Poland and come as Poland’s energy markets begin to recover from the downturn of recent years.
The US firm entered the Polish market last year with the acquisition of the Warsaw office of the now defunct Altheimer & Gray.
