Beachcroft Wansbroughs has recruited three lawyers to join its 45-strong construction group. In the London office, the firm has recruited Tony Blackler as a partner from Macfarlanes. Simon Bradley, formerly with Shoosmiths, joins the Birmingham office as a partner, while Louise Garcia joins the Bristol team from Osborne Clarke as a partner.

DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has boosted its real estate practice with the appointment of planning expert Howard Bassford. Bassford joins from Herbert Smith, where he was an associate, having worked at the firm since 2001.

Manchester-based search and selection firm Ashley Hoyle has hired legal search expert Lyndsay Cox to spearhead its new professional services unit. Cox joins the firm from Fox Rodney, where she was an associate director.

Manchester firm Berg Legal has promoted Damian Carter to partner. Carter has been an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation department for the last two years.
