Simmons & Simmons is to set up an IP practice in New York at the beginning of next year. Simmons head of IP in the Asia Pacific region, Chris Woods, will establish the practice. He will be replaced as head of IP in Hong Kong by Baker & McKenzie IP specialist Angus Phang, who joins Simmons at the end of November.
