I was very interested to discover that Leslie Dubow, the spokesman for the Solicitors Property Group, holds the opinion that the Law Society is a dinosaur.
Mr Dubow would do well to remember that dinosaurs did in fact survive for many millions of years.
This is a much longer existence than that experienced by some of the solicitors who have been encouraged over the years to become Estate Agents.
Two such law practices in Surrey, for example, lasted a mere two or three years and resulted in claims on the compensation fund of several million pounds.
Perhaps dinosaurs understand things slightly better than Mr Dubow.
