Irish firm Mason Hayes & Curran has promoted six associates to the partnership as part of plans to broaden the firm’s practice areas.
Mason Hayes is looking to position itself as a full-service firm and has plans to grow its financial services, maritime, public affairs and life sciences practice areas.
Managing partner Declan Moylan said: “It’s not just a willy-nilly expansion. We try to analyse government policy and tax policy to work out where the areas of growth in the Irish economy are going to occur.”
Pharma specialist Martin Kelleher was promoted to partner and head of the life sciences group, while Jeanne Kelly was made a partner in the shipping department.
Helen Noble, William Carmody, Tanya Colbert and Melanie Crowley also joined the firm’s partnership.
By the end of the financial year Moylan predicts a revenue of €27m (£18.22m).
