Summary: Appeal by British Telecommunications against a decision of the Hampshire North Valuation Tribunal determining the rateable value of its office premises at Guidon House, Fleet at £826,500.
The premises was built in 1990 and comprises a 4-storey building of steel-frame construction with a tiled roof, tiled exterior cladding to the top three floors, and brick and glazed cladding to the ground floor. The ground, first and second floors are air-conditioned and there are three passenger lifts and one goods lift. The third floor is occupied by refrigeration, heating and cooling plant. There is parking for 380 cars and the total useable area has been agreed at 6,528 square metres. The planning consent is for B1(a) office use.
