The Lawyer has been overwhelmingly voted the most “entertaining and newsy” legal publication on the market.
An independent poll of in-house lawyers also reveals that The Lawyer is better read than any other legal magazine apart from the Law Society Gazette.
The study, carried out by NOP Corporate and Financial, ranks the Gazette, In-House Lawyer (IHL) and PLC as the most respected publications for in-house lawyers.
It also describes the growth in the number of legal newspapers and magazines as “overwhelming”. About a dozen titles are now read.
Nearly half the respondents described The Lawyer as entertaining and newsy, while the Gazette, PLC and IHL all scored less than five per cent.
