Weil Gotshal & Manges has announced its latest round of global partner promotions.
The firm, which made up 21 associates to partner, including two in its London office, which also gained one new of counsel.
Securitisation lawyer, Pierre Agyeman and capital markets lawyer, Peter Schwartz have both been promoted to partner, while litigator Peter van Keulen has been promoted to of counsel.
Weil Gotshal London managing partner, Mike Francies, commented: “They have each made an enormous contribution to the firm already and are very well regarded by our clients.”
The firm’s overall promotions are significantly higher than previous years with 12 associates made up in both 2006 and 2005.
The firm promoted two to the partnership in the London office in 2006 and in 2005.
