MORE than 6,000 visitors from the legal profession are expected to attend The Solicitors and Legal Office Exhibition, due to be opened by Geoffrey Howe, managing partner of Clifford Chance, at London's Barbican next week.
The three-day exhibition, which opens on 3 June, aims to promote technological innovation in the legal world.
Last year, it played host to more than 3,000 visitors from private legal practice, and over 600 suppliers to the legal profession.
There will be free workshops throughout the day and 120 companies will have exhibition stands.
Among those exhibiting is Dallas-based Coprasoft, which hopes to introduce its intranet application, Chief Legal Officer, into the UK legal market and HM Land Registry, which is promoting a service that enables clients to access the register direct ly from their own office.
Also attending is Russell Consultants, which will demonstrate a high-security fax designed for sensitive legal communications.
A VIP lounge is being provided for those wishing to do business.
