Trowers & Hamlins has poached SJ Berwin commercial property specialist William Clements. Clements is the third addition to the firm’s commercial property group in recent months following the appointments of partners Adrian Leavey from Fladgate Fielder in July and Sangita Unadkat from Denton Wilde Sapte in February. Clements becomes the group’s twelfth partner. He was an associate at SJ Berwin. The turnover of Trowers’ real estate practice rose by 21 per cent last year and the group accounts for nearly half of the firm’s UK turnover.
