Eversheds has bagged a new partner for its Paris office with the hire of corporate partner Antoine Martin.

Martin joins Eversheds from the Paris office of US firm Winston & Strawn, where he was also a partner. He joined Winston in 2001 from Stibbe.

Martin’s practice covers M&A, venture capital transactions, joint ventures, international transactions and contract law.

His experience has seen him practise in New York, as well as France.

Martin is the eleventh partner for Eversheds’ Paris office, which joined the firm in 1998 when Eversheds merged with a large part of London firm Frere Cholmeley Bischoff.

The office is currently led by former London managing partner Michael Brown, who was appointed as European managing partner in May this year.
