Eversheds relocates Manchester star to fill Leeds property head position

Eversheds has appointed a new head of property in its Leeds office following the resignation of current head John Foster

Lee Ranson has been relocated from the Manchester office to lead the property team. Foster, who became a partner in 1985, is leaving the firm to join local practice Nelson & Co.
Eversheds' head of property Cornelius Medvei said: “Ranson has made a tremendous contribution to the growth and current strength of our property team since joining Eversheds and we're confident that he will lead the team to even greater achievements.”
Last June, Eversheds re-organised its property department along industry lines. The new sector-focused structure is based around five markets – commercial developers, house-builders, property investors, property finance and end users.
In October, the group set up a multijurisdictional team to drive forward its international strategy.
Birmingham head of property Tim Webb was made responsible for real estate strategy for North America and Europe.
