Advising outside my area. I’ll never do it again.

What’s the most exciting deal/case you’ve worked on and why?

The sale of J Sainsbury Developments Ltd. There were a lot of deadlines and different parties to keep happy.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what two ­luxury items would you take?

My children.

What’s the worst partner ­conference location you’ve attended and why?

Loved all of them. I enjoy a chance for a pint and a catch-up with my ­colleagues.

What’s the longest you’ve worked without sleep?

Forty-eight hours – but which lawyer hasn’t?

John Cleese. Best likeness.

Who would you least like to be stuck in a lift with and why?

Johnny Depp. Because I’d faint.
