US firm Hunton & Williams has ramped up its global competition practice by taking a litigation team from Clifford Chance‘s shrinking New York office.
Clifford Chance partner Kelia Ravelo and of counsel Wesley Powell are specilaists in civil litigation with an emphasis on antitrust class actions. Clients include MasterCard International and the Mexican Bankers’ Association.
The pair are the latest additions to Hunton & Williams’ global competition practice in the last seven months. In June, David Higbee joined the firm as a partner from the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice. Bruce Hoffman and Mel Orlans have also joined this year from the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition.
A Clifford Chance spokesperson declined to comment.
