Birmingham College of Law judged 'very good'

The newly-opened College of Law in Birmingham has had its presence in the city endorsed by a 'very good' rating from the Law Society

This is good news for those planning to study the now defunct Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University in Birmingham in 2002. That closed in October, and students were advised to transfer their applications to the College of Law.
The college is now the highest-rated postgraduate law school in the city. The Law Society announces the results of its assessments when they happen, rather than publishing them all together, so it is hard to compare law schools contemporaneously. But currently the University of Central England has a 'good' rating.
The college is the largest legal education provider outside London. More than 300 students were enrolled in its first semester, which began on 3 September 2001.
The college's branches in London, Guildford and Birmingham all now boast the 'very good' rating.
