French giant Gide Loyrette Nouel is dramatically beefing up its US practice by hiring two partners for its New York office.

Projects and asset finance specialist Marianne Rosenberg joins from Thelen Reid & Priest. Prior to that she was managing partner of Linklaters‘ New York office. Tax specialist Rob MacDonald joins the French firm from Hunton & Williams.

Gide senior partner Gerard Tavernier said: “Marianne and Rob’s arriva lmarks a major step towards Gide’s strategic goal of providing access to banking and finance law services in the chief financial capitals of the world.
