Paul Hastings also scooped Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom corporate counsel Patricia Tan Openshaw, who joins the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Paul Hastings’ global corporate department chair Robert Miller said the new hires would increase the firm’s cross-border capabilities in Japan, Korea, the Philippines and elsewhere throughout Asia.
Miller added that the continued growth of its Asia practice is a top priority for the firm.

Openshaw’s practice encompasses corporate and project transactions in the energy and infrastructure arena.
