New York intellectual property (IP) firm Lieberman & Nowak has merged with Washington DC's Dickstein Shapiro Morin & Oshinsky

Lieberman's five attorneys expands Dickstein's IP practice to over 60 lawyers.

“In the past two years, our New York office has grown four-fold,” said Angelo Arcadipane, Dickstein's managing partner. “Dickstein is constantly on watch for strategic business opportunities that will benefit our clients.”

Since early 2001, the upwardly mobile firm has poached a corporate and tax team from Roberts Sheridan & Kotel, a litigation team from Baer Marks & Upham and an IP team from Ostrolenk Faber Gerb & Soffen. Dickstein now has more than 325 lawyers spread between its New York and Washington DC offices.

Lieberman's clients include Dow Chemical, Boeing and Stan Lee (creator of Spiderman and The Hulk).
