Peter Young, the sacked Morgan Grenfell fund manager at the centre of a major investments inquiry, is instructing Peters & Peters. It is understand Young originally sought legal advice from S J Berwin before turning to the white-collar crime specialists. The firm, veteran of such cases as BCCI, Blue Arrow and Barlow Clowes, will be awaiting a decision by the Serious Fraud Office on whether it will investigate Young's investment activities while at Morgan Grenfell. Young is the subject of an inquiry by fund management watchdog IMRO.
