CMS Cameron McKenna has promoted Aberdeen partner Penelope Warne to lead its energy, projects and construction group following the departure of former head Mark Moseley.
Moseley, who joined Cam-erons in 1997, is leaving to become senior counsel of energy at longstanding Cam-erons client the World Bank. He leaves the firm at the end of June.
Camerons managing partner Dick Tyler said: “The move to the World Bank is an exceptional opportunity for Mark and we wish him well for the future.”
Warne, who also heads Camerons’ global energy practice, took up her new role last week. The new appointment sees her take a seat on the firm’s executive committee for the first time. She established the firm’s Aberdeen office 12 years ago and will continue to divide her time between Aberdeen and London.
The group advises on projects in the public-private partnership infrastructure, accommodation, energy, electricity, oil and gas and major construction arenas. Among its clients are Metronet, National Grid Transco, BP and Alfred McAlpine.
