Alternative career paths are all the rage these days, with high-flying lawyers losing interest in the law and heading off in other directions.

One such lawyer is Keisuke Kishi, who abandoned his legal career to become an artist. And a successful one, judging by his exhibition currently on at the Oxo Tower in London. Kishi produces vast, psychedelic pictures heavily influenced by the East but also reminiscent of the covers of fantasy novels, computer games and religious iconography.

It’s a heady mix, although judging from the example above, we reckon Kishi’s days as a lawyer weren’t wasted. Suggestions as to the identity of the inspiration behind these beauties to the usual address.
