It’s been a busy week for lawyers doing sporty things for charity. On Tuesday 10 May, a bunch from The City of London Solicitors’ Company took part in a swimathon for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, organised by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

The team of seven intrepid swimmers had to complete a total of 5,000m between them – that’s 200 lengths of your average swimming pool. Those donning fetching Lycra for charity included Fox Williams senior partner Ronnie Fox, Allen & Overy finance partner Ian Borman, Berrymans Lace Mawer litigator Robert Stevenson, as well as a team of four ladies from Lovells, including two PAs, an assistant solicitor and one of the press office team.
