Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office has appointed a new managing partner.
David Knaggs, head of the firm’s Leeds insurance practice, takes over the role after nine years as a partner at Irwin Mitchell, replacing Kevin Cunningham.
The Leeds office includes the firm’s personal injury and business arms as well as the insurance practice. Last year office turnover rose by over 14 per cent to nearly £20m, contributing 20 per cent of the firm’s total income of £91m.
Knaggs said that one of his main objectives as managing partner is to improve Irwin Mitchell’s profile in Leeds, where it employs 300 staff.
