Denton Wilde Sapte has promoted only 12 associates to its partnership, under half the number of promotions compared with last year.
London benefitted from 10 of the new promotions, with Dubai and Cairo bagging the remaining two. Last year the firm promoted 26 associates to the partnership.
Denton Wilde Sapte chief executive Howard Morris said: “For a firm of our size this represents yet another significant investment in our people.. There is an exciting pipeline of talent coming through the ranks and we will continue to nurture, reward and invest in these people.”
The firm’s London corporate department saw the most promotions, with three associates being made up to the partnership, effective from 1 May.
The dispute resolution and real estate departments each saw two promotions internally with the banking, energy & infrastructure and TMT departments gaining one new partner promotion each.
The firm now has 173 partners.
