Field Fisher Waterhouse has launched a Scandinavian practice from London, advising companies from the Nordic region on business in the UK and building closer relationships with law firms in the region.
The firm already has a close relationship with law firms in Sweden, Denmark and Finland through its ecomlex alliance of IT firms and is now keen to focus on two or three firms in Norway, one of which is believed to be IT specialist Simonsen Føyen, which also has an office in Stockholm.
Norwegian media associate Christian Lindqvist and Swedish tax associate Michael Boman are spearheading the effort together with Staffan Wegdell, a Swedish lawyer at Buse Heberer Fromm, the German member of Field Fisher’s exclusive European Legal Alliance.
