Denton Wilde Sapte has appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers as its adviser as the firm considers converting to limited liability partnership status deferring its vote by almost one year.
The law firm has asked PwC to identify the steps it will need to take to convert to into an LLP and at the end of the process the firm will make a recommendation to partners.
DWS expects that the decision will be put to vote in the second half of the next calendar year.
The law firm originally said it was going to vote on LLP conversion this winter in response to a survey by The Lawyer (10 October). The Lawyer asked the top 50 firms what their plans were in regards to LLP conversion.
Beachcroft Wansbroughs voted earlier this month to the take on LLP status as well as change its name to Beachcroft. Lovells and Norton Rose are also due to vote on conversion this winter or early in 2006.
