Westminster-based firm Bircham & Co has posted record profits for the last financial year.
Birchams' turnover has soared to more than u10m – a 16 per cent increase on the previous year.
Targets were beaten in every one of the firm's departments.
Birchams' partner count has also reached an all-time high of 24 with the hiring of James Denker and Penny Chapman from Rowe & Maw's private client department. They started at the firm last week.
The firm's growth also includes three lateral hires which will boost corporate, charities and matrimonial areas.
Nicholas Brown, chairman of Birchams' executive committee, says: “We anticipate a further healthy rise in turnover when our new partners have settled in.
“We are seeking to increase the strength of our commercial property and planning team as well as our expanding general commercial practice with new partners.”
Birchams is a member of the Private Association of Lawyers in Europe which has associate firms in 20 European cities.
