Eversheds (Richard Stephens, Felicity Wooldridge) advised a joint venture set up between the Bank of Scotland and West Coast Capital on the £135m acquisition of five regional shopping centres from Cole Pensions. Andersen Legal (Michael Polson, Caryn Penley, Keith Barnett, Andrew Lewry) advised the Bank of Scotland on its funding of the acquisition. Lovells (Michael Stancombe) advised Cole Properties.

Masons (Peter Stockdale, Karen Cooksley) is advising Berkeley Homes on a scheme worth more than £100m, involving the conversion and refurbishment of existing historic buildings and the construction of new dwellings at the Royal Arsenal site at Woolwich. Berkeley Homes is working with the London Development Agency, advised by Eversheds (John Butler) to ensure the sympathetic conversion of listed buildings.
