What could be more tiring than cycling to Paris from London? Cycling there and back, perhaps. The last time Tulkinghorn mounted a bicycle, they were called penny farthings and served absolutely no good purpose whatsoever.
But the technology and media lawyers at CMS Cameron McKenna have found a reason to get on and start pedalling. The team is attempting to raise £5,000 for the NSPCC and its Young Witness Support Scheme by cycling the full 686 kilometres of the return trip to Paris.
Each team member will complete a section of the journey and then pass the baton on to the next, starting at 6am this Friday from the firm’s Aldersgate Street offices.
Tulkinghorn will be cheering them on in spirit from the comfort of his padded leather armchair.
