CC, slaughters land £250m Uniq divestment

Clifford Chance and Slaughter and May bagged the lead roles on Uniq’s sale of French spreads business St Hubert for €370m (£250.11m) to Dairy Crest. Slaughters’ French best friend Bredin Prat helped out in Paris for Uniq, with Clifford Chance putting together a cross-border corporate team led by partners Joel Ziff and Thierry Schoen for client Dairy Crest. Bredin Prat partner Brigitte Leclerc worked with Slaughters London corporate partner Nigel Boardman for Uniq. Slaughters originated its role on the deal in London, working in close contact with seller Uniq.
