Partner Pierre Lenoir is taking his team of three associates to A&O, bringing the intellectual property (IP) lawyer-count in Paris to six.
Archibald is suffering a grim month, having recently lost partner Kristine Karsten and the three associates from her real estate and finance team to Eversheds' Paris office.
Lenoir, a renowned trade marks and patents lawyer, took the same team to Archibald from Jeantet Associés just over two years ago. He specialises in contentious matters and work involving cross-border issues, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical sector. He also handles product liability work.
The appointment of Lenoir is a clear sign of A&O's commitment to boosting its pan-European IP practice following the recruitment of Lovells' German co-head of IP Henning Harte-Bavendamm last month.
