Over to Outer Temple Chambers, which recently won the dubious accolade of being the highest-ranked team of barristers in the London Triathlon.
The Outer Temple team actually came 33rd overall out of 200 teams and was led in its quest for glory by the new leader of the Western Circuit Robin Tolson QC.
Tolson completed the 10km in a staggeringly quick 39 minutes. Sadly, it wasn’t all glory. Fellow barrister Andrew Short, on the bike leg, managed to ride it into a wall, suffering a puncture and losing six minutes. There’s always one.
