Lovells posts highest ever profit figures

Lovells has posted figures this year of £286.5m – and reaped record profits.

Partners at the top of equity are now on £708,000, with the most junior equity partners on £283,000.
All top equity partners who were partners in the legacy Lovells firm prior to its merger with Boesebeck Droste will benefit from an extra payout of £18,000. The payout is derived from outstanding work in progress from the legacy firm.
Lovells is now the highest-grossing firm outside the magic circle. This year Herbert Smith turned over £204m, Norton Rose £175m and Ashurst Morris Crisp £155m.
Lovells senior partner Andrew Walker declined to comment on figures, but did say: “Last year was remarkably successful for the firm.”
