The Lawyer is the UK’s biggest magazine aimed at business lawyers, according to official figures released by the independent Audit Bureau of Circulations.
The magazine’s average net circulation for June 1999-July 2000 was 28,944, an increase of 22 per cent year on year. The new circulation figure is 34 per cent higher than its nearest competitor Legal Week, whose average net circulation was 21,582.
Rachel Lesiter, publishing director of The Lawyer, says: “The new figures confirm our clear market leadership and reveal that The Lawyer is the only legal weekly with 100 per cent paid or requested circulation. This and the huge improvements in editorial coverage show why our advertisers and readers get so much more value from The Lawyer.”
