Leading international IP firm Rouse has formed a strategic alliance with consultancy Iceberg Transactions to ramp up its non-contentious IP transaction capability.
The two entities will join together on client pitches and to offer advice, with Iceberg working on deals involving IP portfolios, such as patent acquisitions and using IP as collateral for loans.
Ben Goodger, head of global IP commercialisation at Rouse, said: “The strategic alliance with Iceberg will enable us to provide our clients with a holistic offering that goes beyond delivering services around protection, exploitation and enforcement of IP rights worldwide.”
Last year Rouse bulked up its litigation capability with the hire of Allen & Overy partner Catriona Smith.
