Italian independent Negri-Clementi Toffoletto Montironi & Soci (NCTM) has launched its first international office, opening in Brussels.
NCTM has sent antitrust partner Domenico Gullo to run the office, which will focus on advice to Italian companies on competition and EU law matters. The firm’s client base features investment banks and technology and insurance companies.
Name partner Alberto Toffoletto has overall responsibility for the antitrust practice, managing the group alongside Francesco Denozza.
NCTM, which specialises in corporate and litigation advice, has a turnover of ?42m (£28.28m) and employs around 150 lawyers, 34 of whom are partners.
The firm has five offices in Italy: one each in Milan, Rome and Vicenza and two in Verona.
