A lawyers' guide to the Internet is promoting on-line services as a means of advertising.
The 'Guide to the Internet for lawyers' says the firms are gaining publicity and prestige from being on-line, in addition to potential new business.
Duncan Callow, responsible for promoting Denton Hall on the Internet, says: "We spent a lot of time thinking about how we could use the Internet to improve the commercial strategy of the firm. As a result we have received a lot of feedback from our pages."
He adds: "We are simply looking at new ways of distributing information.
"At the moment we are just testing the market."
